Stevens County, Washington, its creation, addition, subtraction and division, January 1904 / by W. Park Winans.

This collection consists of the the history of Stevens County, WA as told by William Parkhurst Winans. In preparing the history he had researched records at the State Capital; records at the Colville County seat; many individuals for their recollections and personal histories; and his personal journal which he had kept daily for the 13 years he resided in Colville Valley. He states that he carefully recorded events and incidents on the day of their occurence. The history was given to Miss Grace G. Isaacs, Chairman of the Historical Society for the Women's Reading Club in Walla Walla, Washington on March 28, 1904.
